      My Post Office has a photocopy machine.  Copy the money order and invoice before mailing it.  Not being middle class is not an excuse to not keep records, because that will just let the scammers victimize you.  Yes, I count collection agencies as scam artists, when they're trying to collect on a debt using illegal abuse and harassment, or from a different person with a similar name, or speculating by buying a legally obsolete written-off debt for cents on the dollar.
