    of government officials performing their public duties

    MUST remain on file and available for many years

    due to the required of FOIA Laws. (Freedom of Information Act)

    Paper or Electronic records -- it makes no difference.

    If it documents "changes" to Policy, Procedures, or the conducting the Business of Government,

    then the records are to remain public records for years.

    This is a BFD.  The penalties are harsh for scoffing at FOIA requirements.  Someone should FOIA the minutes Re-Districting Decision Meetings.

    And any "supporting records" that were used into the process of "making those decisions."

    It's our right. It's what "Sunshine Laws" are all about.
