    One of the many ways TV is better than ever, imo, is that you get to watch all those good things you missed, in one venue or the other, whether it's on cable or on demand.

    For instance, I never saw "The New Adventures of Old Chirstine" in real time. Catching it now in reruns and really enjoying it. Lots of laughs. Same is true of other series.

    Have never seen even one episode of "Everyone Loves Raymond," but am enjoying the star of that show on the latest season of Parenthood.

    And you know, I just know, that if Shakespeare had TV as a possible stage for his brilliance, he'd have jumped right in. As have many great artists.
