    there are verification issues and is a source genuine and all that sort of thing. Kissinger comments in the sources we have already, to say nothing of what might exist.

      out of the CIA documents about the JFK assassination.  They have kept coming out in dribs and drabs for several decades now, but there still remain several thousand that have not been released.

      They are masters of the limited hangout.

      Everything there is compartmentalized, so that people in the agency can write documents who are totally unaware of other things that the agency has been doing.

      Kissinger has been known to be less than completely truthful, even to high officials in government.  Look at how he treated Secretary of State Rogers, for example, or SecDef Laird.

      The influence of the [executive] has increased, is increasing, and ought to be diminished.

        while I agree with you, JFK occupies a different space in the CIA's history. They will probably not ever let those documents go, if they exist at all. The Dirty War is different, so the reluctance is puzzling.
