      As I said above, almost no reporters are lawyers, and few crime reporters are really savvy about legal issues.  Some are fresh out of journalism school. There are a handful of reporters who are law school grads, but they tend to look for higher paying jobs than newspaper reporter and end up on television.

      I hope they obtain the motions filed and publish them, hopefully online.  You know, the ones that start, "Comes now..." and goes on to say who makes the motion, the nature of he motion and on what grounds the motion is made.

      Sometimes motions are made ex parte, and those are not published, but kept under seal.  If that is the case, we will not get to see them and neither will the press until the case is over, and sometimes not even then.
