I know you have a very good understanding of my situation.  To be honest I was caught off guard by how quickly my application was approved.

I'm starting now to research the various blindness/disability organizations hereabouts.  Suddenly my evaluations will  have a more explicitly political character.

Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?

    •  Your condition (0+ / 0-)

would be approved quickly and that is a good thing.  Especially since it your eyesight is effected which also effects other things like being able to drive to work, etc.  It is when you have a rare condition that isn't well understood that causes delays.  I think about you and wish you the best.  I hope you have pain free days and that somehow they find a way to make your situation better.

I hope you find some peace, I know it took me a while to come to terms with where I was at.  I really didn't want to accept that I was disabled.  I fought it tooth and nail.  But, in the end I do think I found myself and have accepted that my life is what it is.
