I wonder why they did not include him. I know that he was speaking out in the 2006 timeframe but I didn't remember his stance early in the game.   In fact, he provided some of the most important information about the neocon strategy for war in the Middle East.  I always wondered why the Bush admin. did not go after him for this.  I also wonder every day why the Obama administration seems to be following through with this strategy.

Has Clark done any interviews this week? I haven't seen him interviewed in a long time and have no idea what he is doing these days.  We really could use his voice as this drumbeat for war continues.

"The solution to terrorism is not going to be found in bullets. It's not going to be found in precision ordnance or targeted strikes. It's really going to be found in changing the conditions. It's going to be found in establishing a global safety net that starts with security and goes to economic development and political development and the kinds of modernization which let others enjoy the fruits of modernization that we as Americans enjoy."

~ Gen. Wesley Clark, October 17, 2001, Annual Lecture sponsored by the Center for the Study of Force and Diplomacy at Temple University.
