    You may be able to find work with a technology incubation organization. They may not need (or be willing to pay for) your legal knowledge, but your practical experience combined with your ability to "talk tech" (evidenced by your two technical degrees) might be a valuable addition to the team. You could work with their clients to help prepare them for the process in advance, helping them know what will be needed down the road once they're patent-app-ready.

    I don't know the field particularly well, so it may be that I'm off the mark, but this seems like a potentially very useful skill set in that marketplace.

    Good luck! I've been looking for three years now (marketing/grant writing) and understand all too well the feeling of having too much experience to be hired.
