I, enjoy, the, challenge, of, using, the, comma, appropriately.

Those would be the "secret" republicans.

I was thinking about doing a piece on murderers and gun violence in the late 19th century. I found an awful murderer who was distantly connected in my tree. It was so bad that it made national headlines in 1880. In Tom's daily list of gun violence here on DKos, it would just be one incident. So I went with space aliens. Because, why not?

There were more mountains back then. It's the mind-control rays. And if I write it in caps and cut and paste it everywhere, people will know I'm tellin' da trooth!

That's worse than the 20th century photo of the guy who died in 1855 somebody posted on findagrave.

It'll be a challenge to come up with something as fun as the space alien mother-in-law theme. The Shag Harbour UFO site happened to be the first bathroom break of long drive along the Maritime coast. Rest stop ahead. Dumb luck. Looking for grave markers and family homes, finding a UFO site.

And that really is my mother-in-law opening the rest room door.

It came at just the right time. There is, after all, a whole conference of space aliens going on somewhere in or near Washington DC right now. These are republicans who don't even have the courtesy to use secret apostrophic signals; they just bleat out their conservababble to all within earshot.

Anyway, the fellow who posted that photo I found on findagrave, purportedly of my 5xGreat-Granddaddy, turned out to be a reasonable sort, at least. He answered my message and said that he was going to take the photo down since he agreed that it couldn't be of the person he thought it was. Strike a blow for the Empire!

(Yeah, I've already started.)  Always good talkin' to you!
