  •  An obvious question . . ? (0+ / 0-)

I don't know the context of Cantor's quote, but a seemingly obvious question I would LOVE for a reporter to ask is:

Rep. Cantor - when you say 'you know we are a party of diversity,' how exactly are you defining "diversity"?
Seriously, I think that would be a great question. I'm totally unaware of any such reputation, unless the diversity is geographic diversity among angry white people.

Especially when you consider the CPAC debacle, wherein not only some idiot white dude tried to justify slavery and denounce his own oppression now, but that the Moran seemed to think there was nothing wrong in his declarations.

    Just. Wow.

[Aside: I am a white person, and I really wanted to write, rather than "some idiot white dude", 'some dumb honky' or 'some racist cracker.'  That's wrong, somehow, right?
If it's not, I think that we normal white people should start calling white bigots by some satisfactory name to distinguish them. Unless it's wrong, in which case, totally disregard, and I didn't mean to offend.]
