are getting heavy sour crude deliveries, as major refineries in IL, MI, OH have been modified to process heavy sour crude.   It was tar sands synthetic crude that was spilled with the Enbridge pipeline into the Kalamazoo River.

Enbridge had a line explode outside of Clearbrook, MN a couple of years ago killing two technicians and has had other line ruptures/spills in MN. Adding horsepower/pressure is troubling for sure. This oil is very corrosive  besides..... Yeah, kind of forgot about Kalamazoo, Enbridge paid a large fine and clean-up costs were/are massive. Don't think they have it finished yet.... IIRC, wasn't there a tar sands pipeline breach in Montana that also spoiled a major  river? Bad pipe, bad welds, bad design, horseshit crude.....what could go wrong?
