    through shoe boxes of cards and letters I received over the years from my parents and I cherish them.  I will find a card and start hugging it as well as photos I find that I forgot about.  It means a great deal to have written notes from a parent that you can read long after they are gone. It means so much. My sister is lucky as my parents wrote to her regularly because she lived so far away. I only lived a few hours from them at any given time so I seldom got letters but I saved the greeting cards and such.
