    taught to me frmo age 4 on. My parents were strong about that and it was a constant. Dad would have told the guy off and if still alive, Dad would be 85 now..he did not care and he grew up in the segregated south. But he did all in his power from age 14 on to speak out against racism and segregation.

    Dad taught us to not be afraid to rock the boat and to speak out and not be afraid to ruffle feathers. He said unless the person is a boss who can fire us or a cop who is arresting us....but then find another job and in the latter case, do not resist arrest but get a lawyer and later sue his ass.

    But I have to say, I could not stand there and hear this stuff and not speak up. I would have had to leave the golf game or I would confront him nicely and ask him to please stop or I would walk away. I do not care who I would upset or offend.
