    of society.  The limited liability benefit in particular is a gift to corporations that pure libertarian philosophy cannot justify.  The only reason society should make rules that allow corporations to exist is if it benefits society.  The economy in general can no more exist without rules than a game of baseball could exist without rules.  The rules need to be made in a way that benefits all the players.
