    These are liens on his HOUSE -not his company's office.  

    They had paid two liens so they were very much aware they existed - dumbfounded - not really....  guilty... oh ya!

      It appears to have been a personal tax issue, unemployment tax.   Has nothing to do with the business.  And yes, the accountant would handle that.  My wife is also considered self-employed, doesn't get a paycheck with those taxes withheld, so we have to figure and pay them going forward.  And if it turns out at the end you made a mistake, you pay extra plus a small penalty.    

      So basically, the state said there was a mistake on one part of the taxes, it was resolved.  Wow, zing, you got him GOOD.

      Why am I pretty sure that you don't take the side of Wells Fargo when it forecloses on someone for making a late payment or miscalculating the amount of interest once?

      Give me a break.
