You don't like the EM law, so you're just blindly attacking the guy who agreed to take this job.

This diary is a huge cheap shot.  You clearly don't know what you're talking about, since your position seems to be that the EM law is unconstitutional because it's somehow improper for a state to pass laws regarding how cities are operated (when cities are CREATED by the state).   Further, Mayor Dave Bing and the City Council (i.e., the elected representatives) are not challenging his appointment and are working with him.

So, yeah, I think this diary is bullshit.  And I think you need to do a bit more research before you go full-on attack.

You are off base by a mile.  You are making this personal, and I'm telling you the man in the suit doesn't matter.   The EFM doesn't know where his own money is, and he keeps having to have liens place on his to find it out.

point think, "shit, Snyder is an asshole and this emergency manager law is a travesty and it was voted down by the people and Snyder reinstated it anyway and that's dictatorial and undemocratic and it's being used abusively throughout the state----  so I'm not going to support it by accepting Snyder's offer"?

Did he have a conscience, in other words?

That's one more thing to add to my long list of small problems. --my son, age 10

    •  The EFM law was REPEALED. (2+ / 0-)

By citizen initiative. And the legislature just passed another one, making sure that this time it was impossible to repeal.

The EFM law was undemocratic to begin with, and now it has turned into a joke.

You're defending the EFM law, apparently. Do you have some rationale for reinstatement of the law, after the citizen's repeal?
