Mt Evans, and that's pedal power mind you, when I lived in that neck of the woods; the world's highest paved road, I once heard. Anyway, Trail Ridge Road, the same; did all that stuff as a bicyclist. Never tied it on the Dugway, though; not with a bike. And now that this is the upmteenth take on this tricky road I am going to do my best to find a video of that road, taken by one of my hostlers (when I was instructing the Elderhostel program (now called Road Scholar) for Yavapai College. I know he made a video of it, which later he had made into a dvd; sent me a copy, and I'm driving the rig all the way up. I didn't realize it was so scary until I saw the movie with our three vans. And those hostlers never even flinched! I mean, tough as nails. Anyway, if I can find it I will see if I can embed it into a diary and then those in our community who have never experienced this road soon will. Thanks for posting your comment, bluestatedon. And I think your wife exercised good sense by not getting behind the wheel. Give her a pat on the back for me.

Treat the world (yourself, and others) as part of a living organism. Everyone and everything will benefit.
