    to get as many people arrested for handing out food as humanly possible. A couple of hundred people in Hermann Park on a Saturday morning should get some good national attention.

      They'll be some schmuck shouting about, if you had the motivation to do it on that scale, you could have applied for a permit, so it's really YOUR FAULT.

      Because apparently all acts of charity and generosity need to be planned a great deal in advance.  You know, so you can get credit for it.  (Of course at that point, it's no longer charity and more "Giving stuff away for publicity".)

      I don't blame Christians. I blame Stupid. Which sadly is a much more popular religion these days.

      In the previous diary posted about this issue someone commented that he and some of his friends would take pizzas to the homeless at a downtown location on Friday nights.   But the ordinance involves a $500.00 fine.  He is afraid to risk it anymore b/c he is a student and does not have $500.00 to burn.
