      she was elected because the people in MA saw this in her during the debates.
      She was not as well known as some here (who pay attention to national politics) think. She got better and better in each debate and who she showed us she was was a brilliant but plain speaking person who was passionately commited to economic justice. She showed us someone with a deep integrity. That is why Brown's attacks did not stick after a while. She showed us who she was and unlike in some places enough people in MA don't hate Democrats and are open to believieng she was the real deal.

      Note that men broke solidly for Brown but women pushed Warren over the top. Brown and his pickup and barn coat carried the day for a lot of men, dissapointingly. And of couse MA is surprisingly provincial when it comes to sexism...she's our first female Senator. We've never elected a female Governor.
