    washes plates for 50 diners, hence the hit is .02 per diner - for example.

    Many people subject to the minimum wage, especially in food service, spread their cost over a lot of revenue. But that's true in a lot of retail....

    Even adding a second dishwasher at 10$ / hr.... helping to bring in 50 diners (on account of better service) X $50 tabs = $2500. Small change.

      price hikes, however large or small they are, will mostly hit those who can afford them.

      income gains to the top 1% from 2009 to 2011 were 121% of all income increases. How did that happen? Incomes to the bottom 99% fell by 0.4%
