    on men in general -- except maybe Congressional GOP men. In which case it's more than applicable with the current crowd.

    Maybe a few other categories it could apply, but more as a generalization of men in that category, not of all men. I'm thinking folks like car dealers/mechanics, computer experts, handymen, etc.

    I would never accuse my spouse of "mansplaining", nor his late father, nor his brother -- his brother talks to me about soccer, but he never falls into the "mansplaining" trap. I'm not going to accuse any man of "mansplaining" until they prove it by their actions.
