    There hasn't been a decent reason to go to war since September 1, 1939.

    I remember prior to The Bush ascendency that there were daily fly-overs of Iraq's borders. I remember the UN and others with real intelligence saying there were zero nuclear or chemical or biological weapons...

    I remember early reports of how France and Britain, and a few other countries fumed about the loss of their oil contracts.

    And I recall how Afghanistan fit too neatly with Uzbeki oil reserves as well as Afghan poppy fields.

    Cheney and Bush still have a lot of explaining to do, along with Cambone, Feith, Rumsfeld, etc.

    And that doesn't excuse our continuing problems with Guantanamo.
