    this went up.  Now fixed.

    But also -  if one looks at how the data has moved on this, even if one discounts the political identification of those in the poll, it is clear the direction the nation is moving on this issue.

    I strongly argue that pushing progressive positions on social and economic issues would be very much to the benefit of Democrats right now.

      on abortion and contraception.

      I strongly argue that pushing progressive positions on social and economic issues would be very much to the benefit of Democrats right now.
      The Obama campaign continually ran commercials (at least in my state) with Romney saying in his own words that he wants to overturn Roe v. Wade and "Planned Parenthood, we're going to get rid of that."

      That kind of attack can be used in 2014 against GOP candidates who are foolish enough to publicly oppose marriage equality.
