Do you think people would be more likely to contribute, initially, if they had a concrete example of a business or two to invest in?

You know me, Ray. I'm in. We can't put our eggs in the electoral politics basket. Helping people out of this economy, especially the Millennial's and Y's, it's the least we can do. And working on models of doing business that did NOT lead to this mess -- that's a good thing, too.

Mindfulness is the first necessity of sanity and survival and the first casualty of Consumer Culture.

idea: Set up a website specifically to promote businesses that meet a certain criteria.  For example, the main focus would be to serve as a business incubator for employee-owned businesses.

It would be very professional-looking, featured-rich.  The vision/mission of the business would be related to the desire to create millions of good-paying jobs around the country.

It would have a business incubator aspect, helping people with similar interests connect, write a business and marketing plan, register it as employee-owned business, and create the bylaws related to the selection and compensation of manager-owners.

I'm going to write a brief diary about it and see if it gets any traction... I'll publish it shortly.
