but for cat's sake. . .is there something in this country, in this world, that should be more prioritized. . .like, maybe, the growing problems with the environment and a likely Environmental Armageddon coming on? Or a Congress that absolutely hates the public that elected them, and therefore we get the hind tit treatment all the time? Come on, folks. . .there has to other matters of more urgency that are being throttled, as in denied, given all the rest of this stuff. Sure, it's important human rights, but there is so damn little attention in this country paid to environmental problems, including too much attention given to the likes of the fracking industry, the Keystone project, and all the rest of the monkey business that gets top dog postings. How about some triage here for a change? We can still deal with the inequalities that are notorious in this country.

Treat the world (yourself, and others) as part of a living organism. Everyone and everything will benefit.

in the last week, you will find 60 with the tag "environment" and 8 with the tags "gay rights" or "marriage equity" on DK.

But I hear that for you, viscerally, 8 diaries on human rights for us queers is 7 diaries too many.

Your opinion about gays is noted: we are low on your list of what matters, and we should shush up.

Shushing up, now.  Sorry I took up so much of space (in a diary about gay marriage).
