    She flies in for the weekend shows.

    I don't think she would give up tenure for a limited TV gig.

      Tenure's a great thing, but it doesn't have the sheen it once did. People with tenure ARE getting fired these days, and they don't have to show up for class in nothing but body paint to do it.

      I can't remember why, but in one of her shows she appeared standing outside her home. It was very modest. It wasn't in Princeton, I don't think. Princeton's expensive. In broadcasting, she could probably earn 20 years worth of teaching salary in about 5 years...

      Don't get me wrong, it's obviously not all about the money for someone like MHP. It just depends on how much she "enjoys" news journalism and the soapbox she has there and whether the financial flexibility she would have to pursue whatever other dreams she may have in a few years would be appealing to her.
