In California, where I live, the Dianic tradition is still very transphobic. I was the last face-to-face student of Shekhinah Mountainwater (author of Ariadne's Thread), and I taught in her online Grove. She did not consider herself a Dianic and ocassionally accepted trans students, but after her death the transphobes in her online school prevailed, I was purged and Shekhinah was claimed by the Dianics posthumously (sort of a Mormon-style posthumous baptism). I've been a solitary since then.
