when you just ignore every point I made and simply say the opposite?  I explained the political context, the obstacles, and the Constitutional necessity of pursuing impeachment in the event of a ruling against VRA.  You have nothing to say about any of that - you just assert that you think it's implausible, so nobody should do anything.  What exactly do you think you're contributing, given how little thought you seem to have put into your response, and the fact that it amounts to telling people to shut up and do nothing?

Ask me if I'm afraid. I say, "Of course not. I'm a fool, and fools never die."

but don't be disappointed when nothing happens, which is precisely what would happen in the scenario you've laid out.

I always say try it. I also always keep my expectations low.

But I don't see any part about trying in the comment - just three reasons why he thinks it won't work, two of which I had already anticipated and addressed.  Most prominently, the entire final paragraph of the introduction deals with the failure to go after Bush.  The comment was not something that could be reconciled with responding to what was written, just with seeing the title and leaping to a conclusion.

I understand that sometimes people jump the gun a little, but when an entire batch of negative comments suddenly pops up about an extensive diary only a few minutes after it's posted and most don't seem to address anything other than the title, that's a little disgusting and clearly there's some kind of problem with community expectations.
