    1. During the first weeks and months of the war, the main stream media might have taken a clue from the war masters' indifference not only to a falsely based abuse of American troops, but the very Iraqi people they said they were "saving" from SH - instead they ignored Iraqi homes. Iraqi museums, Iraqi history, dangerous Iraqi weapons depots! - all were ignored while the Minsitry of Oil was protected.:

And eventually the Halliburton war profiteer contracts were bringing American troops the hideous electrical murder machines for showers and spoiled rotting meat on kitchen floors.

    2. 2 French authors wrote in their book on Bush II's war  that Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld had warned the Taliban that if they didn't allow them to build a pipeline across their land that instead of a shower of gold they would get a carpet of bombs. So even that lie rang false - the attack on the Taliban.

    3. In a recent call to Lindsey Graham's office to criticize the drun beat for attacking Iran, I mentioned that George Tenet had given Congressional testimony before the war that he did not know whether S.H. had WMD or not but that if he did, he was "well contained" and would not use any weapons he might have UNLESS we invaded.
The staffer's answer was  something like - you don't know what it was like back then - we were getting so many calls from people on the 9/11 attacks.
    SAY WHAT??????

So the only way to stop this, IMO, is to hold hearings and trials and hold people accountable.
Give our children a chance at the earliest level starting in kindergarten to trust their own judgment and not be bullied into believing lies and questioning everything.

I believe - maybe I'm wrong - that 9/11 was a crime and should have been handled as a criminal offense where the perpetrators were hunted down by a multinational police force and brought to trial.

Finally people have gotten sick and tired of being had and taken for idiots. Mikhail Gorbachev
