    They haven't just purged liberals and moderates from the GOP, they've purged any intellectualism. It doesn't require much thinking to be an empty suit and receive from on high. It might take an intellectual to lead the GOP in a new direction, but the GOP leaders don't want a new direction. They want the same direction, but with a coat of whitewash.

    They've become addicted to messaging, the idea that if they only say it in the right way that people will vote. But there are reasons that minorities are avoiding the GOP, and it isn't how the GOP has phrased things. The GOP doesn't need to talk to minorities, it needs to listen.

      Kansas (state legislature) lawmakers, and found this group is the least educated group of lawmakers we've ever had.

        for the people of Kansas.  I realize that the majority of people of Kansas voted for the members of the legislature and Gov. Brownback, but, like here, the sane ones have to live with the decisions of the lawmakers that the rednecks and ignorant voters have put in power.
