  •  I don't see how they can resolve (6+ / 0-)

this dilemma by the 2014 elections.

Best case, even if they do, I don't see how they can recover in time for the 2016 elections.

This friction is creating a gaping hole in the GOP.  The bigger question is, will the Democrats drive the proverbial Mack truck through it?

    •  We just have to do major GOTV to get out (6+ / 0-)

young people, new voters,  sporadic voters,  those who often stay home except for presidential elections.

Democrats need to double down on GOTV and really do a lot of voter contact.  We really need those young voters, particularly college students and those sporadic voters to be sure to show up and vote or vote absentee in an off year election.

As we know Republicans and especially Evangelicals and teabaggers crawl through broken glass to vote in off year elections as much as Presidentail years. We have to counteract that. We know we can do it . We need to do it for off year elections now!!!!

      it's parked.

Hell, they lost the keys back in 2010.
