      in blue states had nothing to do with gerrymandering.  The GOP ran very effective campaigns based on lies (jobs) and propaganda (blame the Bush recession on Obama) and voters fell for it.  Will they be as gullible in 2014 or have Democrats and independents learned their lesson?

        And they have a lot of money now.

        Here in NC I got an e-mail from the Governor about all of the good things they are doing.

        I haven't seen a right wing e-mail on that account in years.

        Now their filter might not be very good, but I got the e-mail none the less.

        The highest form of spiritual practice is self observation with compassion.

        When people aren't happy with the way things are going (economy wise) they're going to make a change, pointless though it may be, ill-informed as it may be. The same will be true 4 years from now (when the economy will still suck).  Of course, the red states will stay red, but some of those blue states will surely return to Dem governors.
