    Isn't that a lot like fucking for chastity?  War is waste, pure and simple.  Didn't Cheney teach you anything?  The absolute last thing we need is a war on anything new.  We can address deficit issues easily by simply putting people to work.  When people work and have jobs, they pay taxes and the extra revenue will in itself lower the deficit.  Let's stop the 'war talk' now.

      that working people will pay, but as the necessity for support payments (UI, food stamps, Medicaid) decreases, so does the deficit.  
      I think that's called a win-win.

        there is pent up demand in the US and people who make money, spend it.  The places they spend it make money and hire people who also spend money and so on and so on.  

        Workers become scarce so companies start to compete for labor and wages go up and they buy more things.  

        If I knew how, I would embed George Carlin's famous "stuff" comedy bit here because that is what people do when they have money, they buy stuff.
