      Jeff Sachs is probably the most hated man on the planet.  This is especially true in Russia where his crackpot economic suggestions led to the collapse of civil society and allowed a tiny group of thieves to make off with the nation's riches.

      Sachs is at Columbia BECAUSE his so-called Harvard Project in Russia was so corrupt, even they had to get rid of him.

      Yes indeed, there are moments when I find myself in agreement with that evil little scumbag.  I hate those moments because with all the baggage the man carries, his support for a few good ideas only serves to discredit them.

      Just go away Jeffrey.  The world has already tried some of your "solutions" and the result was one calamity after another.

        The Nation had a cover in 1997 or 1998 reading "The Harvard Boys Do Russia" or something similar. The story described in detail his handiwork there.
