  •  Thanks for the map (17+ / 0-)

I have been with tribal member who have used Google Earth to show me some of the well site and their concerns over potential harm to both water and to wildlife habitats. These are people with good "boots on the ground" experience with the area and they are skeptical that the oil and gas development be done in a way that truly respect Mother Earth.

    •  is this a temporary trade for support for the (4+ / 0-)

and what if they don't win the concession...or ...if they do?

they will be back, or sell it to someone who the coal pensions: form a company to take all the losses and avoid the costs...but I hope not.

and it shows them fracking or licensed in the lower valley Grizzley bear summer areas, where the females hide out and have their cubs. and protect them...great.

also this area had that recent land swap, can't remember the name of it, where the Trust For Public Lands got some degree of protection from the rampant summer home developments...but does that allow fracking, or maybe can't prevent it by federal law?

      temporary great news, thanks O.
