    I've heard this exchange dozens of times since November in many forms including many politicians.  And I hope it continues:

    Questioner:  You lost the election because you lost the women's vote, the Latino vote, the African-American vote, the Asian vote and, obviously, the LGBT vote.  And, in response, the youth vote evaporated.

    Republican Politician:  Yes, and we're going to fix it.  We need to make our message more palatable to those groups.

    Questioner:  So, you're going to back off on issues like abortion, gay marriage, immigration reform?

    Republican Politician:  Oh, no!  Never!  We will never compromise on our conservative/christian ideals.  Never!  What we have to do it explain our positions better.  The voters want our ideals; they just don't understand our positions.

    I hope they stick with this strategy forever.

    Guns don't kill people but there's always one there at the time of death.
