The timetable for review of the Keystone pipeline is set by statute, and Congress could still do an end run by freezing funding.  This is leadership saying make THEM, the Senate, pass a decent budget.  Did you see Obama and stop reading so you could complain?  Either way, environmentalists are better off making the case on the issues instead of letting the debate, and planet, be hijacked by people who care more about opposing Obama from either side.  This petition shows OFA wants to be part of the process, and giving support in exchange makes that process easier, for all sides.  It's not a set up to excuse failure - not that it couldnt happen but Obama wouldn't use OFA for that.

This does seem to tip the the admin's hand on the pipeline, but that'd get in the way of complaining.  Is it that you don't know progress when you see it, or just don't care.

    Difficult, difficult, lemon difficult.
