but you sure can't tell it from Israeli policies.

Hay hombres que luchan un dia, y son buenos Hay otros que luchan un año, y son mejores Hay quienes luchan muchos años, y son muy buenos. Pero hay los que luchan toda la vida. Esos son los imprescendibles.

you accused One nation of people as deciding that another is subhuman
It is QUITE an accusation. More then saying an entire people was racist...you accuse them as a nation of being evil, pretty much.
And I do not think their policies go so far as to treat Palelestinians as a lower SPECIES,which is what you say and get away with apparently here.

Note how the Israeli audience responded to the part of the speech that the President asks the Israeli audience to crawl into the shoes of Palestinians. It got the loudest claps and cheers of the entire speech. The loudest response in that in fact were the lines how Israeli parents would want these Palestinian teens Obama spoke to to have a good life all the opportunities any kid would have, there kid would have.

That is when Israeli's clapped the most. The precise time where they were most supported happens to be where you would think--from your postulate that Israelis think Palestinians as subhuman-they would boo.

Interesting. Perhaps you should watch that part of the speech.

yes.  Israel has maintained racist policies with substantial and consistent majority support for decades.

That isn't to say that all Israelis support them.  Indeed a substantial and large minority of always opposed these policies, but if you look at what the nation does, who the electorate votes for, and what those politicians do, it is a very difficult conclusion to avoid.  The notion that a younger generation understands that this is wrong is a very hopeful sign.  Maybe we just need to wait for the older generation to die off, who knows?
