  •  This is good news (17+ / 0-)

I wanted to inject two things that I've been thinking about into this conversation:

One of the most pervasive of marijuana's effects on me is that I seem to have a much less materialistic attitude. It's not that I'm lazy, or stupid. I just don't care as much about accumulating more things. I think that this is not peculiar to me, and I think it could be one of the things that is the most spooky about marijuana decrim to the powers-that-be in our dog-eat-dog society.

Also, how many people do you know that exemplify the stereotype of the wastrel loser pot smoker, that strictly smoke pot? I know a few people that are like that. They drink alcohol, they'll do a line if they can mooch it off of somebody, they'll do pretty much anything if they don't have to work to hard for it. But of the people I know that only smoke pot, there is absolutely no one who acts like that. They are all hard-working, upstanding people.

Repeal the treaties, change the laws.

      Pure stereotypical stoner.

He fit EVERY stoner stereotype to a T.

      •  It was really something of a trick question (0+ / 0-)

As I understand it one of the stereotype "consequences" incurred by marijuana use is that it will lead to use of other things.

If a person only uses marijuana they are already not a stereotypical user.
