    'migrant workers' . I suspect that the latino community has parents who speak mainly spanish and try to stay away from government. My family has deep roots in the area and were some of the first settlers of the are. I now live west of the mountains. If my memory serves, religeion is big and when you get closer to the Idaho border there is the the usual guns religion, brown folk kind of mentality. People are nice but you need to know your place and 'new comers' are not as welcome unless you are passing by on your way home.
