    If they are paying for imported coal, then their own domestic fracked gas would be cheaper, as well as cleaner.

    India and Pakistan are also too dependent on coal, if they had cheap gas supplies their future greenhouse gas emissions would not rise as fast.  India is even buying kinda expensive imported liquified natural gas.

    Of course I'd rather see them develop renewables.  But as you pointed out, these countries have a huge demand, and letting them default to coal is the worst case.

    Orly, it isn't evidence just because you downloaded it from the internet.
