  •  People did protest, but the MSM gave a tiny tea (10+ / 0-)

party far more coverage than a gigantic anti-war march.

I think that most people gave up when they could see how stacked the deck was against peace.

The Neocons did a very good job covering all the bases: they took control of the media, the Congress, the President, and set up an economy in which most people were put in peril of losing their job, health care coverage, and homes so they would be in no position to protest.

They really do think a lot in those think tanks, and they orchestrate wars and massive transfers of wealth brilliantly.

Why would the oligarchy give publicity to its opposition?

We as a people failed when too many of us gave up.

The oligarchy operates on only 2 motives--fear and greed.

They feared the people enough in the 30's to allow the New Deal because the people were in the streets and camping out in DC.

Until their fear is greater than their greed, they will continue raping us.

We kidnap. We torture. It's our policy. Embrace it or end it!
