It'll probably help us pick up the state senate district representing Oregon State Univ., but that's already a Lean D race, without even a candidate declared.  Without running a serious opponent for either Merkley or Kitzhaber marriage equality may be the only thing driving turnout for Republicans.  But it should also drive up turnout in liberal enclaves.  Dems here have also already been universally in favor of gay rights, even the most conservative Ds in the legislature voted for our domestic partnerships and anti-discrimination bills in 2007.  People who've been voting for them already could have seen that.

It'll be interesting to see if any legislative Republicans come out to support it.
