I didn't make it there, even though it was SO CLOSE. I saw some pictures, though, and read about hikes in the area.

I did get to dine at The Range Cafe in Bernalillo. I had the relleno burger. Very good.

I guess one of the other highlights of my trip through NM was a breakfast in Truth or Consequences. Husband and wife team (I impression anyway), breakfast outside with hundreds of bees overhead eagerly flying and buzzing from bloom to bloom. It was a little unnerving at first, but the bees (wasps too, probably) really had other things on their mind than me or my breakfast. I THINK it was called Happy Belly.

I SO want to hike around in Bandelier, Valles Caldera...on and on The List goes.

Forget Occam's Razor, try hitting them with Darwin's Hammer!

    •  well, you're hitting the high spots. . . (0+ / 0-)

the list you've already accomplished in real time and the imaginary well that will, hopefully, one day lead you back to New Mexico, and then fulfill the rest of what you want to do. But don't worry about running out of things to do and places to see out here. . .that list goes on and on and on. Thanks for getting back in touch with your comments, Munynn.
