    seventh or eighth person to be put forward as the 'leader' of the Syrian opposition?

    And he's a U.S. citizen (for decades), chosen by a group of 50 or so NCSROF members at a meeting in a kind of tacky meeting room in a not-very-good hotel in a not-so-great neighborhood in Istanbul?????

    Lamb chop, we can quibble what to call it, but I think we can both agree it's creepy.
