    I don't blame McCaskill for being late to the party. Missouri is so, so deep red and her win was due entirely to the crazy guy she ran against.

    But Hillary Clinton. Come on, Hillary.  Really. What did you have to lose, say, two years ago?

    If you hate government, don't run for office in that government.

      By tradition, the Sec of State does not engage in political matters.  I do not fault her for not making political speeches or announcements while she was Secretary of State the last 4 years.

        ...time to overturn DADT during the 2008 primaries, as well as some other strongly pro-GLBT statements. I'm quite certain that if she had become President, she, too, would have publicly voiced her support during her first term just as Obama did.

        As you noted, as SoS she wasn't really in a position to make a statement on a domestic policies.
