    The reason no one is talking about raising the cap on salaries is because corporations don't want to increase their portion of the required matching payments into the SS fund. The % they contribute is based on wage amts.

      and poor corps, they are only sitting on trillions in cash, have the cheapest labor we've ever seen, and historic record profits.  I guess they can't afford it.
