  •  Because actually supporting veterans ... (8+ / 0-)

Real work? GOPers can't have any of that. They don't do real work. It's too hard.

and we all know that Republicans love their money. Yes, yes, I know Republicans are willing to spend money on the DoD, but that's mostly because wars are such a great way for Republicans to get money. Republicans war profiteers definitely get money by investing in "defense" contractors, and there's always a chance to get money by plundering the resources of the "enemy" country.

Two ways to get money! That's what Republicans call a "win-win situation."

to health care than the rest of the society, considering their injuries, both mental and physical, are more severe and need more attention.  I don't blame the Obama administration for wanting as many people insured as possible, but allowing states to privatize the program is going to cost a lot more money than the subsidies, which will mean a lot fewer people will be insured.  Either that or those privatized programs will cost the federal government a lot more money which will be poured directly down the throats of the private insurance companies.

Texas has already privatized the administration of the Medicaid program in the state, and now they want to turn the entire program over to private insurers.  Anything can be privatized and used as a sop for money for these guys.
        We have no more commons.
