    Your Social Security pension also won't go away. And your parents sacrificed a lot to achieve those pensions.

    I think things are about the same for us as they were for our parents - except we have Part D, which is saving a lot of lives and fortunes.

      And there's only so much money to go around. Not alone by a long shot either. Pensions are independent of soc sec and were replaced with 401k plans for those of us unfortunate to be born a few years too late. I'm talking about differences in employee and/or state retirement plans, just to be perfectly clear. We worked just as hard as our parents and some pencil pusher got a raise for reducing our benefits 20 years ago. The next generation will have it worse without some major changes.

      Stay-at-home-Moms: Hard working unless they're on welfare, then they're lazy. Just ask any Republican.
