    that could turn out poorly. However, better than Crapo, the Repuke from hell.

    •  Schumer flip-flops on his blanket support of W.S. (4+ / 0-)

      depending on what the headlines are.
        Several years ago he killed legislation to reform "carried interests", claiming it would drive those companies out of NY and U.S.   But a few years later, during the Occupy protests, he said he'd support reform.
        Who knows what his position will be as a committee head?

      he'd got a complete conflict of interest, and should never be chair of that committee.

      The fact that his appointment as chair wouldn't raise a storm of protest from other Senate Dems juar shows how far we are from the Democratic party that we need.

      I would so love to see Sherrod Brown at the helm.
